The Story
Miracle's Journey: A young girl named Miracle experiences anxiety that takes the shape of a "monster." Rather than defeating it through magic or avoidance, she learns skills to manage her worry.
The Monster: Introduced as an invisible worry that shows up during tests, class participation, gym, lunch, and bedtime. Visually expressive yet non-threatening—a metaphor for fear and negative thoughts.
Learning Tools: A caregiver normalizes worry ("everyone has monsters") and teaches skills: bubble breathing, 4-7-8 breathing, the "rainbow game," and 5-4-3-2-1 grounding.
Empowerment: Miracle practices in authentic contexts—spelling tests, the school bus, presentation day. The monster shrinks and disappears during her presentation, ending with a realistic expectation: worry may return, but now she has tools.
